A full-service marina behaves like a service shop, parts counter, storage landlord, fuel dock, and front office at the same time. Its operating system has to connect all five without forcing the staff into rigid categories or paper workarounds.

Atlas Thread Digital designed a configurable platform around that real lifecycle: an office web application, a field-first tablet experience, and a secure customer approval page, backed by shared domain rules and a relational system of record. The result is a coherent path from the first estimate through work, billing, inventory, and reporting.

Interactive customer approvals

Customers can approve an estimate without creating an account. Optional selections are priced again on the server before an immutable receipt is recorded.

Editable, accountable records

Operational records remain correctable after creation, while before-and-after history preserves what changed and why.

Inventory honesty

Parts can move with the real work. Exceptions such as negative stock remain visible for follow-up instead of blocking the service desk with false certainty.

Idempotent financial workflows

Estimate, work-order, and invoice transitions use stable operation identities so retries cannot quietly create duplicate financial records.

Offline-capable dock work

A native tablet experience keeps quoting, status updates, time entries, photos, fuel activity, and intake moving when connectivity is intermittent.

Scan-to-queue intake

Vendor invoices can be photographed in the field, extracted into a review queue, corrected by a person, and posted only after confirmation.

Permission-scoped assistance

An embedded assistant is bounded by the user's access, shows where its answers came from, and requires explicit confirmation before drafting a write action.

Role-aware operations

Search, alerts, dashboards, recurring billing, and drill-down reporting adapt to the work each role needs to see and act on.

The dock keeps moving when the network does not.

Field actions enter a durable local queue, replay in order when connectivity returns, and use stable operation identities so the server confirms each intended action once. The interface keeps pending work visible instead of pretending the sync already happened.
